For the last three years we have been comparing data for children who receive SEN Support, which is those children who do not have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This report compares those findings.

Today, the CEOs of ICB and Sirona Health and Care informed us that the autism assessment criteria will revert back to the process that was in place, before the changes that were announced on 1st March 2023.

On March 16th, we wrote to the ICB to express your concerns and share your feedback. We are now waiting for an official response from the ICB. Families passionately believe that needs-based support should not come at the expense of a referral and potential diagnoses for those that seek it.
