PINS Third and Final Stage
The Partnership in Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) project is now in its third and final stage.
Having gathered feedback from schools, parent carers and children earlier in the year an individual package of training and resources was created for each of the 13 primary schools in South Glos schools to help shape whole school SEND provision, foster supportive learning environments and strengthen relationships between parents and schools.
The training and support began in September 2024 and will continue through to March 2025. As part of this, SGPC have been asked to deliver training and provide advice and support as a provider within the package offered to some of the schools; So some of you may see us at your school over the coming months.
As the project is a trial, a key part of the process is to evaluate its success. Therefore, this Spring, we will be inviting all parents and carers from each of the 13 schools to join us either in person or online to hear your views on what has worked and what hasn’t worked as well in the trial.
The trial is led by NHS England and the Department for Education (DfE), working alongside Local Authorities and Parent Carer Forums.
Join us and give your Feedback
Evaluation and feedback ensures that both the NHS and DfE hear your voices on what has made a difference at your child’s school when evaluating the trial and considering future investment.
Where sessions are online your school will send home the link, or you can book through SGPC’s Eventbrite
