Who we’re working with

SGPC work with the following organisations, you may see them at the community base or at our events

Send and You (SaY)

SEND and You's role as an information, advice, and support service (IASS) is to help children, young people and parents/carers build their knowledge, understanding, and confidence in SEND procedures, policies, practices, and law. This is to enable them to communicate their own needs, wishes, aims, and rights.

Every month SEND and You's South Glos Area Practitioner visits the Community Base to meet with parent carers face-to-face. Parent carers can sign up for a 15-minute session to discuss their concerns and receive information, advice and support from a trained adviser.

Gympanzees Partner Hub

The Lending Library is a cost-effective way to access a wide variety of sensory, play, and exercise equipment without the need to buy. Borrow items for a month, try them out, and swap for something new—perfect for keeping your child engaged and discovering what works best for their needs.

SGPC have partnered with Gympanzees and you can now collect items from the library from our community base on selected Tuesdays.

Bristol North Somerset and South Glos (BNSSGS)

We are the three parent carer forums working together across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire to help shape services used by our SEND Community. Together we are BNSSG.

SGPC work with the following organisations to represent the collective voice of our parent carer community in strategic meetings locally, regionally and nationally, to help shape services used by children and young people with SEND.
