PINS Project: an update

Your voice is shaping support for neurodiverse pupils

We’re pleased to share an update on the PINS (Parent Inclusion and Neurodiversity Support) Project…

Together with Claire Phillips from Inclusion Support, we’ve been busy reviewing all the valuable feedback parents and carers gave at the school engagement sessions and through the PINS Survey. And we want to say a big thank you for sharing your feedback - your voices are at the heart of this project.

Thanks to your input - along with priorities identified by school leaders, governors, and SENDCOs - we’re now shaping a tailored plan of support and resources for each school involved in the project. These plans are designed to ensure that the funding is used in ways that will truly make a difference for neurodiverse children.

What’s happening next?

This September, we’ll be meeting with Senior Leaders and SENDCOs in each school to go over the proposed plans, making sure they reflect both the school’s priorities and your feedback.

There will also be more opportunities to get involved, with two further engagement sessions happening at each school before April 2026. We’ll continue to keep you updated as the project develops – and we’re looking forward to working together to build the best possible support for every child.
