We’re looking for someone to join our friendly Peer Support team, to work with families at our Early Years support sessions in Yate, Warmley and Patchway, and at our Community Base in Kingswood. You’ll help create fun, safe, inclusive spaces for children with SEND and offer support, signposting, and a listening ear to their families.

In this role, you’ll connect with families of children and young people aged 0-25 with identified or emerging additional needs and disabilities.

Working as an essential part of our team, you’ll also help facilitate information online and in-person information sessions, where families can share their experiences. These conversations help us gather the collective voice of parent carers and feed it back to service providers, working together to shape better services for our children.

Key details:

  • Start: ASAP

  • Contract: Permanent, term-time (subject to future funding)

  • Hours: 15 hours a week over 3 days

  • Location: Kingswood, Warmley, Yate and Patchway

  • Holidays: 5.6 weeks (taken during school holidays)
