We’re looking for people to join our Parent Voice and Marketing and Comms teams.

Parent Voice Coordinator

Working as an essential part of our Parent Voice team, you’ll help facilitate information online and in-person information sessions, where families can share their experiences. These conversations help us gather the collective voice of parent carers and feed it back to service providers, working together to shape better services for our children. You will actively represent parent carer voice in meetings with local authority, health, education and voluntary sector partners ensuring parent carers’ lived experiences, views and priorities are clearly heard, accurately represented and used to influence positive change across South Gloucestershire.

Key details:

  • Start Date: 7th September 2026 

  • Duration of Contract:  Permanent contract (this post is subject to future funding)

  • Type of contract: Term-time plus 2.5 additional weeks per year

  • Probationary Period: Six months.

  • Salary:  Β£13.50 per hour, Annual salary: Β£12717.00 (paid as 12 monthly payments of Β£1059.75 )

  • Hours of Work: This is a part-time role, 20 hours a week over 4 days.

  • Location: Your main place of work will be at Poole Court, Yate BS37 5PT. You will also be working at various settings in South Gloucestershire.

  • Holidays: Statutory 5.6 weeks annual holiday entitlement including Public/Bank Holidays to be taken during school holidays

Marketing and Comms Coordinator

Are you a creative communicator who loves making information clear, accessible and engaging?

In this role, you’ll help South Glos Parent Carers reach more families, grow our community, and build trust with parent carers, partners and local stakeholders. You’ll create friendly, audience-focused content across digital platforms including newsletters, website and social media.

Key details:

  • Start Date: 7th September 2026. 

  • Duration of Contract:  Permanent contract (this post is subject to future funding)

  • Type of contract: Term-time plus 2.5 additional weeks spread throughout the year, details to be confirmed by your line manager

  • Probationary Period: Six months.

  • Salary:  Β£13.25 per hour, Annual salary: Β£12481.50 (paid as 12 monthly payments of Β£1040.13)

  • Hours of Work: This is a part-time role, 20 hours a week over 4 days as agreed with your line manager.

  • Location: Your main place of work will be at Poole Court, Yate BS37 5PT. You will also be working at various settings in South Gloucestershire.
