Online support sessions

CUPPA & CATCH UP

Our ‘Cuppa & Catch Up’ online SEND support sessions are a place where you can connect with other parent carers in our community, share your views and experiences and get support and information from our Peer Support Team.

SGPC online support sessions

Held via Zoom our online support sessions are:

  • A chance to share a chat and get support over a cuppa, from the comfort of your own home.

  • Hosted by our knowledgeable Peer Support Team who are parent carers too, so they understand the challenges you may be facing and can share ideas and strategies with you, as well as signpost you to other services which may be beneficial to your family.

  • A safe space to ask questions, unload, laugh, cry, and chat, in a place where you know your life experiences are understood, and where tips can be shared.

Alternate Thursday evenings (term time only)
    7.30pm-9pm

“The staff are amazing and listen and are understanding.”

Good to know

There’s no pressure to join every session, just drop by as and when you need support or have a question for one of our peer supporters – or even just be in a safe space where you can chat with others who understand.

“I forgot how good you guys are, just seeing your smiling faces has made me feel calmer. It’s just nice to hear someone else vocalise exactly how I am feeling.”
