WORKING TOGETHER FOR POSITIVE CHANGE

Have your say!

We want to enable everyone to have their say on local services, family needs and topical issues. Your voice is so important – it can bring about change to local services which work for children and young people with SEND and their families.

We want to hear your views and experiences of your child’s SEND journey. Tell us what needs changing and what is working well. You can do this by:

  • Completing one of our SEND themed surveys (we usually produce two or three every year). These are emailed out to those on our member’s mailing list as well as posted on our social media channels.

  • Taking part in one of our listening events or engagement sessions – dates are listed below and information will go out in emails to those on our member’s mailing list.

Kingswood Community Base

If you can’t make it along to the Patchway Family Hub on a Wednesday, you can come along to our COMMUNITY BASE (link to Community Base page) in Kingswood on a Tuesday and a Thursday between 10am -2pm (term time only), where our Peer Support team will be on hand to offer support, information, strategies and signposting.

Little Treasures stay and play group

Join the waiting list for our Little Treasures stay and play group (link to Little Treasures stay and play page) where you can attend with your young child (aged 0-5 years) to enjoy accessible play and sensory activities while receiving support from our Early Years Team.

Online Workshops

Sign up to our free online workshops (link to workshops page) that cover a range of SEND topics. The workshops leaders are experts in their field and will present information alongside our peer supporters, who will give you the chance to ask questions at the end, as well as receive extra support if needed.
